Privacy Policy

CartBridge, powered by Agentic Cart Adapter, helps Shopify merchants let approved agents create carts and hand shoppers into Shopify checkout. This policy describes the information processed by the app.
Information we process
- Shop information needed to install and operate the app, including shop domain, install status, Admin API access token, Storefront access token, webhook health, and billing status.
- Agent configuration, including agent names, key previews, allowed origins, activity timestamps, and hashed secret keys.
- Cart and quote records, including Shopify cart IDs, variant IDs, quantities, estimated prices, checkout URLs, user authority IDs, approval events, and audit timestamps.
- Order reconciliation data from Shopify webhooks, including order IDs, names, financial status, fulfillment status, refund events, and attribution metadata.
- Buyer IP addresses supplied by agents for server-side Shopify Storefront API calls, as required for correct Shopify request handling.
Payment data
The app does not collect, proxy, store, or log credit card numbers, card security codes, wallet credentials, or bank account information. Shoppers complete payment in Shopify checkout.
How information is used
- To create Shopify carts and signed quotes requested by approved agents.
- To enforce merchant policies, agent authentication, approval requirements, and audit logging.
- To reconcile Shopify orders, payments, fulfillments, refunds, and uninstall events through webhooks.
- To support debugging, fraud prevention, security monitoring, and merchant support.
Data sharing
Data is sent to Shopify as needed to operate carts, checkout handoff, billing, and webhooks. The app does not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Operational records are retained while the merchant uses the app and for a reasonable period afterward for audit, security, support, and legal purposes. Merchants can request deletion by contacting support.
